HeyQueen

My name is Latina and I am the passionate mind behind Crown Thoughts. I love being a therapist and motivational speaker. I created this platform, during the COVID19 pandemic in an effort to advocate against racial disparities in the Black community. Fast forward to today and Crown Thoughts has become a safe space for a multitude of individuals.

I come with much knowledge, having worked in the mental health field for a decade! I currently hold a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Masters in Social Work from Springfield College. My work experience includes case management, community advocacy and policy making, group therapy with adults and intensive in- home clinical work with children and families. I currently work independently and take on client in a private practice setting.

My practice centers on helping others heal and align into their most authentic self. It is my purpose to help create spaces where you can understand experiences and gain the tools to ease emotional distress.

As full as my schedule sounds, I still find time to do the things that I love. I am a #BOYMOM to my two favorite people, Supreme and Kaleb. My toy poodle, Zola, keeps me and my emotions in check. You can also find me practicing yoga, creating content for social media, mentoring adolescent girls, hanging out with loved ones, traveling and/or getting cozy with a great book and glass of wine.

I curated my life to match my most authentic self. Let me help you get there too, it’s time to heal.
